Nyit Academic Calendar 2023 – Kelly Demetra Varsami studied Public Administration at Pantion University in Athens. He continued his studies at Buruch College's Zicklin School of Business, CUNY where he majored in Business/Computer Information Systems. Ms. Warsami received her Masters in Teaching from Queens College, UMNYARWANDA. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in early childhood education at NYIT.
She is state certified in grades 1-6 and has taught in several elementary schools on Long Island. He worked for several years as a teacher of Greek at the Cathedral in New York and at the Greek School in Port Washington. From 2010 to 2015, Ms. Warsami was the Director of the Greek Language and Education Program, Director of Instruction, and Director of Academic Staff.

Mrs. Varsami was born in Argyrokastro in northern Epirus and studied at the High School of Education. He graduated in mathematics and physics. She attended many language conferences in Crete and Athens and specialized in teaching Greek as a second language.
Since September 2002, Mrs. Anetta has been living in New York where she teaches Greek language, mythology, history, geography, math, dance and Greek customs and traditions at Greek schools in various communities: Port Washington, Brookville, The Nissarian Community of Astoria and the Greek Language and Education Program in Astoria.

Konstantinos Doikos was born in Athens, Greece. He studied electrical engineering at Halkida Institute of Technology. Since childhood, he has been involved in various sports, with a particular interest in martial arts, boxing, karate, kung fu and, in recent years, pankration.
He won a gold medal as a Pangration Sport athlete and later went on to become a certified Pangration Sport coach from the Greek Ministry of Sports.

Ms. Skendro, who is of Greek descent, is involved in many organizations that promote Greek culture in America. A graduate of the Atheneum-Maria Callas Conservatory and Mannes College of Music, he won the Alexandra A. Onassis Scholarship.
He also graduated from the Technical Academy of Arts in Moscow, Russia and holds a degree in "Teaching Greek as a Second or Foreign Language" from the Greek Language Institute in Thessaloniki, Greece. Professional development includes a certificate from the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Since 2019 Ms. Skendrou has been a Fellow Artist for the prestigious Carnegie Hall Educators Workshop & Music Teacher Training.
