Unlv Calendar Fall 2023 – The International Center for Gambling Regulation (ICGR) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) has added two more webinars for next month.
The first is called "Understanding iGaming: Regulations, Operations & Marketplace", which will take place on August 9-10. This two-day seminar program aims to help operators and regulators better understand iGaming operations, regulatory guidelines and the market in which iGaming exists.

Topics of the seminar include the legal framework that gave birth to iGaming, understanding market players, social ethical issues, the current and future market size of the iGaming opportunity in the US, among others. The activity will also include a review of a sample of iGaming and allow participants to listen to a jurisdiction that has implemented iGaming and discuss with an iGaming regulator.

The International Center for Gambling Regulation is also hosting a webinar to examine the auditing and accounting mechanisms and processes of the international gambling industry. "Casino & Gaming Internal Controls" will be held on August 17, primarily aimed at regulators, but will also support the training and knowledge base of professionals seeking data and information on control systems in any highly regulated industry.
Seminar topics include the purpose and function of internal control, regulatory audit preparation and planning, internal control case studies, credit and collections, among others.

He received his Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from Brigham Young University where he studied with Don Cook and Douglas Bush. He served for many years on the organ of the Mormon Tabernacle as guest organist at the Tabernacle on Temple Square.
